Find a participating hospital

I found that not every hospital is participating in helping women to donate their cord blood or Bank. This is the individual choice of the woman, and should be a decision you make because they did not because the mind is not available. Why cord blood is still a little new at all cannot be something that takes away all night.

How to find a participating hospital?

If you are pregnant and you have made the decision to donate cord blood bank or the first thing you need to do is to make aware of your decision with your doctor. Speaking with him or her before you can make it easier to find the rest of the answers you seek, such as what hospitals are participating, and so on. If there is a hospital of your choice you need to contact the cord blood bank to make them aware of the decision. Between the cord blood bank and the doctor, someone will notify the hospital staff of his decision. The Bank will be in contact with you as you get closer to your due date.

If you can't find a participating hospital

Sometimes this will happen and you live in an area that offers participating hospitals so what do you do? There are several options here.

First, if there is a hospital near what you plan to use you may be able to collect the cord blood. Call the cord blood bank to ask them if you can help.

There is a Bank of Cryobanks International and they accept donation from anywhere in

United States. But there is a process and you would need to check to see if you are eligible in the first place. You can only have the option to donate cord blood for the distance, the Bank or participating hospital. Banks only accept donations are not always listed on hospital lists.

If you want to see if your hospital is participating, call them and ask. If they are not, check to see if you can become a participating hospital. The future depends on cord blood banking now.
